Harry Potter Attractions at Universal Orlando
There are two main Harry Potter attractions at Universal Orlando- Hogsmeade at Islands of Adventure and Diagon Alley at Universal Studios.
Hogsmeade is the original Wizarding World of Harry Potter attraction and is located in Islands of Adventure. Here you can explore Hogwarts Castle, visit shops like Honeydukes and Ollivanders Wand Shop, and enjoy rides like Flight of the Hippogriff and Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey.
Diagon Alley was added to Universal Studios in 2014 and is an expansion of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. This area includes a recreation of Diagon Alley, complete with shops like Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes and Gringotts Bank. You can also ride the Hogwarts Express from Diagon Alley to Hogsmeade (and vice versa), which is a fun experience in itself!

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando is a theme park that includes rides, attractions, and shops based on the Harry Potter series. The park is located in Universal Studios Florida and is divided into two sections: Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley.
Hogsmeade is based on the village of the same name from the books and films and includes the Hogwarts castle, which houses the Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey ride. Diagon Alley is based on the location from the books and films where wizards go to shop for their supplies. It includes the Gringotts Wizarding Bank roller coaster as well as several shops where guests can purchase wizarding supplies.
Hogwarts Express Train Ride
If you’re looking to get the full Hogwarts experience, be sure to take a ride on the Hogwarts Express! The train connects Hogsmeade Station in Universal’s Islands of Adventure (IOA) with Hogsmeade in Universal Studios Florida.
On board the train, you’ll be able to enjoy views of the Scottish countryside as you make your way to Hogwarts. Once you arrive at Hogwarts, you’ll be able to explore the castle and grounds. You may even spot some of your favorite Harry Potter characters!
Hogwarts Castle Tour
