Three tiers, each with or without the dolphin swim
Discovery Cove is an all-inclusive day resort next to SeaWorld Orlando that limits how many guests it admits each day. Every ticket includes the same day there. What changes between the tiers is which other SeaWorld parks come with it.
- Day Resort: Discovery Cove only. From £133.65 per person, or £189.14 with the dolphin swim.
- Package: Discovery Cove plus 14 consecutive days at SeaWorld Orlando and Aquatica. From £160.07, or £213.45 with the dolphin swim.
- Ultimate: Discovery Cove plus 14 consecutive days at SeaWorld Orlando, Aquatica and Busch Gardens Tampa, with free parking. From £171.30, or £221.90 with the dolphin swim.
What does the Ultimate add over the Package?
Two things: Busch Gardens Tampa admission for the same 14 consecutive days, and free parking. Everything else, including the Discovery Cove day, SeaWorld Orlando and Aquatica, is the same.
So the choice comes down to whether you want a Busch Gardens day and whether you are driving. What every Discovery Cove ticket includes
- Full-day admission to the Grand Reef, Explorer's Aviary, Freshwater Oasis, the Wind-away River and Serenity Bay.
- Breakfast, lunch, snacks and drinks through the day.
- A wetsuit or swim vest, towels, lockers and showers.
- A snorkelling mask to keep.
Parking is the exception: it is free only on the two Ultimate tickets.
Dolphin swim or not?
The dolphin swim is a 30-minute session in the water with a small group and a trainer. It is for ages 6 and over, and children aged 6 to 12 must be accompanied in the water by a paying adult. How the 14 days of parks work
On the Package and Ultimate tickets, the SeaWorld park admission runs for 14 consecutive days and can be used before or after your Discovery Cove date. It is non-transferable. Your Discovery Cove day is a reservation for a specific date, and dates sell out, especially in school holidays and for dolphin swim tickets, so book before you fly.
