Party nights and shorter days
From August to October, Magic Kingdom hosts Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party on selected evenings, and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party runs on selected evenings in November and December. Both need a separate ticket, and on party nights the park closes early to guests with a regular ticket. In our opening-hours data, Magic Kingdom's average day for regular ticket holders was about 10 hours in September, against about 15 hours in March. Before you choose your Magic Kingdom day in autumn or winter, check whether it is a party night.
