Animal Kingdom had the best pace for our family, with plenty to do, an excellent ride on Flight of Passage and an evening atmosphere we really enjoyed. The only thing was making sure we did not feel as though we had to constantly sprint somewhere.

Animal Kingdom surprised us by becoming my husband's favourite. He preferred its slower atmosphere and the safari to the thrill rides, although our teenagers would still choose Hollywood Studios without hesitation.

Haunted Mansion was the ride our whole family agreed on. Favourite parks differed, which was a good sign that each Disney day offered something different.

Early starts and realistic plans made busy school holiday Disney days much easier!

We arranged our tickets in advance and had no trouble getting in. Our teenagers preferred Hollywood Studios to every other Disney park, especially Rise of the Resistance and Galaxy's Edge.
Josh Cook
Our youngest loved Toy Story Land and stayed all afternoon.
Mark Harrison
First Disney day felt hard from overplanning. Second visit was much more relaxed.
E Cox
Excellent park days all round. Animal Kingdom was a favourite, and we stayed much longer than planned.

We got in easily using our tickets. At Hollywood Studios, my husband finally got to see Galaxy's Edge, which was the part he had been most excited about, and it absolutely lived up to his expectations. The rest of us preferred other areas.

Disney was meant mainly for the children, but in the end we enjoyed it just as much as they did. Magic Kingdom gave us that nostalgic feeling, while EPCOT and Hollywood Studios had the newer rides. Between them, there was something that worked well for all four of us.

Ticket flexibility meant all four Disney parks went well, as we could spread out the days and avoid tiring the children.

Flight of Passage was our family favourite. Animal Kingdom kept us until evening.

Our six year old cared much more about meeting the characters than going on any rides. We'd planned the trip around the attractions, but ended up spending loads of time at character meets instead. It was probably our favourite surprise.

Our Disney holiday was much more enjoyable with the app as a guide, not a timetable.
