Pick-up rules worth knowing
Pick-ups run from various locations around the Orlando area, including Lake Buena Vista and Kissimmee. Call the supplier at least 72 hours before your date to confirm the time and place. On the day, be at your meeting point 5 to 10 minutes before the departure time, because guides will not go into hotel lobbies or shops to look for guests. Wait somewhere the driver can see you.
30 minutes or an hour on the airboat
Both options take you across 4,200 acres of swamps, marshes and rivers, looking for alligators, birds and eagles. The 1-hour tour simply gives you longer out on the water. Admission to the Wildlife Park is included either way, so there is time on foot after the ride. A guide comes with you for the day, and the full trip, including transport from your hotel and back, lasts about 5 hours, so plan the rest of your day around it.
