Excellent
Animal Kingdom had the best pace for our family, with plenty to do, an excellent ride on Flight of Passage and an evening atmosphere we really enjoyed. The only thing was making sure we did not feel as though we had to constantly sprint somewhere.

Animal Kingdom surprised us by becoming my husband's favourite. He preferred its slower atmosphere and the safari to the thrill rides, although our teenagers would still choose Hollywood Studios without hesitation.

Haunted Mansion
Haunted Mansion was the ride our whole family agreed on. Favourite parks differed, which was a good sign that each Disney day offered something different.

Universal was great for our teenagers.
Universal Studios was much better for our youngest than I had assumed before the holiday. She loved the Minions and a few of the shows, while her brother disappeared off to the coasters with his dad. Buying beforehand made the day easy to start.

Old and new favourites made our day.
Even with all the newer rides, Haunted Mansion is still my favourite Disney attraction, although my teenagers strongly disagree. That mix of old and new made Magic Kingdom a really good family day.

We arranged our tickets in advance and had no trouble getting in. Our teenagers preferred Hollywood Studios to every other Disney park, especially Rise of the Resistance and Galaxy's Edge.

We returned to Theme Park Direct after an earlier trip and found the process equally straightforward. At Universal, Hagrid's and the Harry Potter areas were the clear family highlights.

Well organised rather than chaotic
Even with several families taking part, the dolphin interaction felt well organised rather than chaotic. Our daughter had been nervous beforehand, but she relaxed very quickly once it started. She still talks about the experience now, more than she talks about most of the rides we went on.
