Our son was disappointed about no roller coasters. Snorkelling became one of his holiday favourites.

Disney works brilliantly with teenagers.
Having enough days on our tickets meant that nobody came away feeling they had missed out. The children's Disney favourites were completely different. One chose Toy Story Land, while the other picked TRON. For me, it was Flight of Passage.

After all the videos we'd watched beforehand, the Wizarding World looked even better in person. Our daughter could've happily spent the whole afternoon in Diagon Alley.

Booking was straightforward too. Islands of Adventure surprised us by beating Universal Studios. Hagrid's was the family favourite, with Spider Man close behind.

Discovery Cove was one of our nicest family days. Our youngest nearly refused to snorkel, but after 20 minutes we could not get him out.

Such a great family moment
Knowing very little about Star Wars, I wasn't sure what I'd make of Rise of the Resistance, but it was better than I expected. Our son, on the other hand, was completely speechless afterwards. Such a great family moment.

A full day needed
Animal Kingdom was the biggest surprise for us out of all the Disney parks. Flight of Passage was excellent, and the safari made a nice break from the rides. Just be aware it deserves plenty of time, as we were glad we allowed a full day.

Arriving early made our first morning at Universal incredibly smooth, especially as we'd already got everything ready on our phones. It was much busier by lunchtime, so Hagrid's was definitely worth prioritising while the waits were lower.
